To the abyss with thee!!
Dec. 23rd, 2006 11:23 pmSo, it's Christmas.
Time to head back home, see the family, take some time off work and play all those games, read all those books and write all that plot you'd been meaning to sit down and do for ages.
Currently, of course, it's been annoyingly busy. Which seems to always happen. Rather than doing absolutely nothing (which suits me fine) we've been doing those irritating inconsequential things that take far longer than they need to. However, this evening I've finally captured that wonderful elusive moment of 'nothing is happening' - a perfect opportunity to play some more of Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption. And it's kinda cool. Poor Christof...things really don't go his way, do they? So fabulously angsty, with so many brilliant 'darkness and pain' monologues. It's great. And inspiring. I'll have to start taking notes, I think, for when the new year's LARP kicks back in.
I'm on call tomorrow. Which is rather sadistic, really, seeing as it's Christmas eve.
However, one can't really complain. It means that I'll have an excuse to sit in front of a computer all day and play games (with the occasional interruption, of course).
