24_hour_techiegave me T for Theresa and Tentacles
1. Celldweller - The Last Firstborn
When I'd finished my last exam, I blinked upon stepping outside into the light, lingered a brief moment surrounded by enthusiastically chatting coursemates and then wandered home in a daze - and as I did so, this song came on my MP3 player. I dare you not to love the chorus - sends chills down my spine every time.

2. Bal-Sagoth - The Dreamer Within The Catacombs Of Ur
Glorious band, glorious song. These guys are well worth a listen. You'll either desperately reach for the 'stop' button or fall in love with them immediately.
(Sadly, there isn't a video on Youtube for this one)
3. Loreena Mckennitt - The Mummer's Dance
Loreena Mckennitt really is incredible - her music takes you straight to another world where you can close your eyes and thoroughly enjoy every beautiful second, being both relaxed and energised simultaneously. The Mummer's Dance is one of her more lively pieces, full of atmosphere.
(Link is to the original version, which I actually prefer, rather than the 'rock version') http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0B7sH5QLyXY&feature=related
4. Breeder - Twilo Thunder
On an old trance CD of mine there is this tantalising glimpse of a track. It only lasts a short while, mixed as it is between two others. You only get about a minute and a half, all told. But what you get is more than enough. Now, due to the wonders of the internet, I can listen to the whole thing. It's as good as I remember...

5. The Unquiet Grave
This song has entranced me for as long as I've been able to remember. When my mum used to play it, I'd listen on in horrified amazement when it began to talk of lingering lovers and ghosts speaking from beyond the veil of death.
