I think what took me by surprise was that I was expecting to utterly hate going back to weds/sun (and really didn't like the thought of it) - but instead, found that in a funny way it was almost easier to deal with. Of course, it was probably easier to deal with because it pushed aside any pretence of having free days to play WoW or other computer-game shaped free-time filling activities. This, paradoxically, meant I actually ended up with an extra day since I just dropped them entirely.
